FACEIT levels and ELO in CS2
FACEIT has 10 levels and the Challenger rank above them. Your level is set by your ELO: you gain it for wins and lose it for losses. Here are the exact ranges.

How much ELO do I get per match?
According to FACEIT, the ELO change depends on your team's chance of winning based on both teams' ELO. Beat a stronger team and you gain more, lose to a weaker one and you lose more. In an even match it is usually around ±25.
Your performance in the match (kills, damage or FACEIT Rating) does not change your ELO – only the win or loss counts.
Seasons and placement matches
At the start of every season FACEIT applies a soft ELO reset – strongest for the highest ELOs and for players who barely played last season. The first 10 matches of a new season are placement matches and move your ELO more than regular matches. New players start at 1,000 ELO unless they have enough CS2 Premier wins.

What is Challenger?
Challenger is the rank above level 10. It belongs to players in the top 1,000 of their region's leaderboard (for example Europe). There is no fixed ELO threshold – it moves with the ELO of the other top players.

Players with the highest ELO are on the leaderboard.
